Woody Allen returns to comedy with Whatever Works. Staring Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld), Whatever Works is a little slow and neurotic but eventually pulls you in and is quite enjoyable.
In Medicine for Melancholy, a young couple from San Fransico wakes up together not knowing one another. They spend the weekend trying to make more from a one-night stand and eventually and intimate connection. Medicine for Melancholy is an updated romantic drama that feels genuine and true to life.
