Four Day New Moon Movie Release Party
November 19th-22th
A four-day movie release party, Experience New Moon kicks off with a VIP party at the Columbia Theater at 212 S 1st Street in St. Helens on Thursday November 19th. The four-day event benefits the Oregon Food Bank and includes screening parties, a walking tour of movie locations, a Volturi Ball, scavenger hunt, Twilight character look- a-like contest and more. Fans can spend the weekend with other Twilight fans in the original movie locations. Thursdays VIP party will include: a panel discussion with Lana Veenkner, one of the casting directors for Twilight as well as some of the local cast who will answer audience questions and sign autographs; Quileute story teller Anita Wheeler, telling Quileute legends passed down to her from her grandfather; and of course the release of New Moon.
Some of the more notable scenes from the movie ... the Swan house, Bella and Edward's first date, the bookstore and dress shop in Port Angeles... were filmed in Saint Helens. A scene of Edward playing piano for Bella and a Forks High School office scene were also filmed in Saint Helens.

New Moon Release Party at the View Point Inn
November 19th, 6:30pm
Come dine and tour the grounds were Bella and Edward once roamed. Have your picture taken under the Monte Carlo Sign, recreate your own romantic scene, or stare out Victoria's window. Your exclusive ticket includes a 4 course meal, showing of the movie Twilight in the room where the prom scene was filmed, and a ticket for a reserved showing of New Moon at Midnight on November 19th.

Post-Movie Dining at the Carver Café

The Carver Cafe in Damascus was the filming location for various scenes in "Twilight." It serves as the restaurant where Bella and her father Charlie enjoy a few meals together. As a special treat, the restaurant is opening up extra early Friday morning to host fans hungry for a bite to eat after viewing a midnight screening of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
Requires reservations and a 2 person minimum or more. Included: a photo at the table where Bella and Charlie sat. A specialty photo will also be available for an additional cost. Full breakfast and lunch menu will be available.

Movie and Volturi Costume Ball

The event includes a screening of the movie New Moon, dessert and drinks, music and dancing, and prizes.
Come dressed as your favorite Twilight character, in evening simi-formal or formal wear. Many guests will be dawning their renaissance gowns in honor of the Volturi. There will be a star look-a-like contest and costume contest.

Portland Movie Bus Tour: Twilight Tours

Portland Movie Tours will doing a special tour just for the Experience New Moon weekend. Watch the movie Twilight as your tour guides take you on a bus ride to movie sites rarely seen in Vernonia, OR. Then back to the Columbia Theater at 212 S 1st Street in St. Helens for a screening of New Moon.
The small town of Vernonia was made over to be Forks, WA in Twilight. You'll recognize many of the sites, including the old cobblestone Rock Creek Bridge that Bella and Charlie each drive over and the bank building used for the iconic Forks Police Station. Locals tell funny stories of the day they drove into town to find the "Welcome to Forks" sign and all of the buildings renamed for Forks businesses.
