Olea (Closed)

1338 NW Hoyt St Portland, OR 97209 503-274-0800

Olea is a restaurant to watch as their new chef continues the tradition of Mediterranean-inspired Northwest dishes and adds his own flair for using decadent and rare ingredients in adventurous preparations. Open for nearly two years, Olea has garnered much national praise, including being named one of Esquire's "20 Best New Restaurants" in 2005. The airy, high-ceiling space is subtly separated into a bar, where a cheaper tavern menu is served all night, and a dining room with mirrors on the walls adding to the spacious feeling. House-infused liquors bring new flavors to the cocktail menu as well.
